I came across this news only today that all search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN and ASk are going to read location of our website sitemap.xml file from robots.txt.
All we had to do is to add one single line in our robots.txt so that these search engines can pick our sitemaps without us submitting the same.
Sitemap: <URL location to your sitemap>
Example
Sitemap: https://www.imthi.com/sitemap.xml
It would be really nice if all these search engine would come up common search engine optimization tips. It will make the life easier who wants to optimize website for search engine 😀 .
