I came across this website related to panorama in this website.
It is a very interesting technequie to create cool high resolution images. I am going to try sometime latter this week. Some software which will really help to do this.
Its bit expensive to buy it but can give it a try with trial version. If it works out well may be buy it latter

nice stuff, i used to be a master in this shit, using a fisheye lens to produce full 360 panoramic views!
