Today morning I woke up early and couldn’t sleep again. So I took my camera went out to take some picture. I went to 2 place one near Sharjah corniche a mosque and kasba. I took some random 120 snaps and out of which few I think it is good and here it is.

It is a very interesting technequie to create cool high resolution images. I am going to try sometime latter this week. Some software which will really help to do this.

I am no expert. I have seen many photographers take a picture of wet leaves. Since I don’t live in a place where there is good rain I had to create an atmosphere of that happened. I took a plant which my brother takes care off and I cleaned soap and water. I left it to dry. This I did so that there was no dust or dirt in it. Normally after rain the leaves will be so clean and you can feel the green in it. So I had to do this.

After sometime I took the plant to my studio ha ha my room and I have to prepare it. I soft sprayed a lot of water from distance. I did it couple of times. At different levels I took pictures of it. Out of 17 shots I loved only this one and here it is

Only yesterday I had the time to read the slr manual and understood what each button and nob in the camera actually used for. After understand some terminology in photography I wanted to try it out. I went couple of places in Sharjah and took some . Then bought some candle trying some luck with it.

These two has come out well with some effects with 10 sec shutter speed and maximum aperture value.

Yesterday my cousin wanted to goto a Tamil music show conducted by cool productions. It was happening in Sharjah cricket stadium. This program was supported by Shakthi FM. Main sponsors of the event being ETA star and Western Union money transfer. My brother managed to get a free pass

The crowd was so much even the police were unable to control them. There was no problems but traffic was little affected by it.

The total people count was more than 18,000. It was really a big one.

Lot of kids were enjoying it dancing big time while they were playing their favorite songs.

The crowd was amazing but the program was not up to the expectation. It was okay

It was a crazy night. Me, Iyad and Iyad’s cousing Amer went for the Chevrolet drag race challenge in Umm Al Quwain motorplex. It was simply amazing the way they do this stuff. This is my first experience watching a drag race live.

Drag racing is a sport in which cars race down a track with a set distance as fast as possible.

Drag racing usually involves two cars racing each other over a set distance, usually 1/4 mile or 1/8mile. Although distances range from two hundred meters to one kilometer, the four-hundred meter (1/4mi) drag race is the most popular. Races of this nature test a vehicle in terms of acceleration and top speed, as well as the driver with regard to skill required and concentration. Although the driver does not have any turns to negotiate or opponents to defend against, apart from the competitor in the other lane, he or she must be very accurate with gear shifting to avoid over revving the motor and throttle modulation to avoid loss of traction during the race.

During drag racing events, vehicles are classified into different classes by various criteria that take into account the extent of modifications to the car. These criteria include engine capacity, configuration of cylinders, frame type, vehicle construction materials, wheelbase, horsepower to weight ratio, number of cylinders, whether or not power adding devices such as turbochargers, superchargers or nitrous oxide are employed, vehicle type (such as car, truck, et cetera), or even make and model for limited entry fields. The aforementioned divisions are in place to ensure that the cars are evenly matched during the race.

Drag racing vehicles are special in that they are modified to be lighter and more powerful than in their standard form. A lighter vehicle means that the power-to-weight ratio is increased and hence a greater acceleration will be achieved. Power increases vary depending on the extent of the modifications to the engine. The table below illustrates some common outputs for different induction configurations for a typical drag-racing vehicle. Please note that the numbers expressed are not by any means limits for power, but they’re rather accurate indications of typical levels of power produced by daily driven drag racing vehicles.
