My dream theme for wordpress

I am kind of again tired with my current theme. This time I am not going to search for better theme. The theme what I am using now is kind of cool and really nice but I had this for real long time. While modifying the theme for pda I found Wordpress theme is not that tough to code.

Some features for the theme which I am write for my blog

  • SEO friendly
  • Ajax enabled
  • Basic graphics like apache.org. I love the design for so many years the have the same design and it kind of cool.
  • A logo if possible.
  • More work on the comments like captcha which will help me eat lot of spam. You wont belive how many spam I get everyday. Spam karma and Akismet plugin save me a lot . If these too are de-activated it will be real nightmare for me.
  • A gallery module to upload my picture with cool title and description, If possible comments too ;-)

Thats all for version 1 I guess and will improve based on my needs.

I Guess I have to Diet

Dieting

I was not well for past one week. Thought it was general sickness and it got worse so I went for a medical checkup. They checked up my blood pressure and informed me it bit high and I have to check up my height, weight, sugar etc etc. Surprisingly I was just 38 kilos more than my normal weight. Doctor started warning me if I proceed in this rate with no exercise and diet I will get heart related diseases soon. Plus they said to stop smoking :-(.

Now I am showing off that I am on a diet like eating double layer pizza with diet coke. And My dear sister has given me a diet schedule.

Change of present habit

  • No chocolates and all kinds of sweets, not even a single piece, single toffee including chewing gum to be taken.
  • Ban all kinds biscuits, cookies, puffs, cakes etc
  • Cut all fried stuff like chips, crackers, crispies
  • Cut all kinds of nuts including pumpkin seeds
  • Noruku theeni (Junk food) even if they are from your loving mother from India don’t take them
  • Don’t touch anything from India that includes recipes made from Maida like nangathan, parota, dumroad etc
  • No more fried anything..no fried chicken prawns
  • Nothing oily, don’t eat anything oily
  • Nothing salty, no idly podi especially with oil
  • No oorgai (pickle)
  • No ghee stuff
  • No pizzas, no kfc, no fast food
  • No soft drinks of any kind (color …lol)
  • No picnic, if unavoidable don’t eat those kind of food
  • No Friday briyani
  • No mayonnaise, no butter, no jam, no cheese, no ketchup,sauce
  • No Smoking – no cigarettes, no hookah, no beedi, no cigar, no paan.
  • No tension  :-P

Eat as follows:

For morning

  • Thyroid pill
  • After half an hour, coffee with skimmed milk and artificial sugar
  • Diet McVities biscuits 2

For breakfast Always

  • take one large glass of 100 % pure orange juice, packaged never mind
  • one large glass of skimmed milk with 50% sugar 50 % artificial sugar
  • two egg white
  • one fruit(orange apple pear berika kiwi apricot(not tinned), avoid banana)

Choices

  • Left over chapatti with left over aanam(not oily)(make sure there is left over chapathi and aanam for morning)
  • Cereal (there are thousands of varieties in super market esp for those who want to reduce weight) soaked in skimmed milk artificial sweetner-sugar 50-50%
  • Whole wheat bread slices 2 – 3
  • Oats kanji made with skimmed milk

10 – 11

  • coffee with skimmed milk and artificial sugar
  • Diet McVities biscuits 2 or 3(whole wheat biscuits)
  • Avicha black sunadi kadalai one small cup taken from home
  • Never white sunda kadalai

Lunch

  • Chapatti with dhal, onion
  • Shredded carrot beets cabbage raddish sliced cucumber tomatoes
  • A small cup diet coke blah blah
  • One apple/pear etc

4-5

  • coffee with skimmed milk and artificial sugar
  • Diet McVities biscuits 2 or 3(whole wheat biscuits)
  • Avicha black sunadi kadalai one small cup taken from home
  • Never white sunda kadalai

Dinner

  • Chapathi 3/rice
  • Keerai
  • Vegetable kootu no fry
  • Fruit 1

Before going to bed

  • Skimmed milk
  • diet biscuits

Do’s

  1. Daily weigh your weight and write it down on a chart. Weigh with light clothes eg. Underwear
  2. heavy exercise work out
  3. meditation
  4. tension free
  5. drink lots of water minimum of 2 litres
  6. pray, read quran
  7. once a weak boiled chicken or chicken aanam or fish aanam
  8. u can drink tea or coffee without sugar and milk 2 3 cups a day ( Chinese tea)
  9. atleast six hour sleep a day
  10. 15 min nap after lunch

Common Sitemap for search engine

Hearing some news that there big players Google, Yahoo and MSN are going to support sitemaps format which was originally from Google. For this purpose a new website has been launched www.sitemaps.org. Nice no more worries I have may sitemap ready ;-)

Google Apps for my domain

Last week I signed for Google apps for my domain imthi.com. Its is pretty cool and they service is pretty cool. To be honest I really don’t have to use this service since I ain’t a corporate. But curiosity which drives lot of people like me to test what Google is providing and doing. After experiencing one week I really start liking it a lot.

If I have a company and I will really use Google apps for my company needs. The amount of features one get from this is lot. For example take one fine example of email

  • 2 GB online storage
  • Excellent web mail and it is mobile complaint.
  • POP with good security
  • All the hardware to support with full backup feature

Some of the other service provided with Google apps

  • The start page - A central place for your users to preview their inboxes and calendars, access your essential content, and search the web.
  • Gmail - Offer email to your users with 2 gigabytes of storage per account, search tools to help them find information fast, and instant messaging built right into the browser.
  • Google Talk - Your users can call or send instant messages to their contacts for free — anytime, anywhere in the world.
  • Google Calendar - Users can organize their schedules and share events, meetings and entire calendars with others.
  • Google Page Creator - Create and publish web pages for your domain quickly and easily with this what-you-see-is-what-you-get page design tool.

It will be really nice if they could include spreadsheet in this list. Which is mostly used by lot of companies. Sometimes I really admire Google how they take everything to web. One thing still bothers me is privacy.. ;-)

I am waiting for licence card to be issued in Emirates driving school. I mu=
st thank my cousin Ibrahim who helped me a lot with this. And my dear broth=
er who kept pushing me everytime I failed the test.

Posting from pda. Cool stuff

Like other I wanted to post my scrap to my blog using my pda. There is an o=
ption in wordpress to post by email. I tried it first by putting one email =
address and its login details. I sent couple of emails and waiting for a lo=
ng time to appear in blog. It never appeared so I thought that feature was =
not compactable with my mail server or post by email was broken. So I dropp=
ed that idea of posting using a pda.

Afterwards I thought I will write a small plugin which will hep me doing t=
his. God time is the only issue. I have only 24 hours a day and nothing mor=
e. So much work at office and by the time I come I crash directly.

Today I wanted to try this again. I went through the code. And I noticed wp=
-mail.php and I wondered what this file does. Yes this is a cron file for d=
ownloading the email. I was really stupid to think a featre in wordpress as=
broken. It was my ignorance. Now I tested both my previous mails appeared.=
Coooool I deleted both and this is my attempt to send a proper post. Havin=
g fun really exploring the limit less features of wordpress. :-D=
